Devastating News 4-Year-Old Child Passes Away After Accident on South Side of Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS, USA: A collision on Friday morning on Indianapolis’ south side claimed the life of a 4-year-old child.

Around 11 a.m. on Friday, according to the police, the event took place in the 8700 block of Meadowridge Lane, close to State Road 135 and County Line Road.

Just before 11 a.m. on May 31, police responded to a report of a “personal injury accident” in the 8700 block of Meadowridge Lane, close to State Road 135 and County Line Road.

A father was backing up a truck while a 4-year-old was inside, according to IMPD. To make sure he was backing in straight, the father got out of the truck.

When he got back in, he was unaware that the youngster had gotten out and was now behind the vehicle. Then, unintentionally, the father retreated from the youngster.

The child was taken by ambulance to Riley Hospital for Children, where he subsequently passed away.

As of right now, police have not provided any more details on the event.
