Columbus, Ohio — On Thursday night, two cars struck a guy in the Clintonville neighborhood, resulting in his death.
Benjamin Weiss, 23, was reportedly using a designated crosswalk to cross North High Street at Olentangy Street, according to the Columbus Division of Police.
Weiss was hit by a dark-colored automobile and fell to the ground. Weiss was struck by another car while he was still on the ground, according to the police.
The owner of the car with the dark hue drove off. The second car’s driver remained.

After being transported to Riverside Methodist Hospital, Weiss was declared deceased.
The hit-and-run investigation was started by the Accident Investigation Unit.
